I don't think there is a gamer out there who hasn't heard the sad news of Amy Hennig leaving Naughty Dog after ten years of working for the company and who was the Creative Director behind the highly successful Uncharted games. She leaves with the completion of Uncharted 4 now under a cloud of uncertainty, the franchise's first step onto the new gen platform has fans wondering if it will still happen, or if it will be changed completely. Amy Hennig departs from Naughty DogA lot of the speculation now is the fact that Amy was actually "forced" from the company. Naughty Dog have since come out with a statement trying to quash rumours that have been flying around that the Creative Director of The Last of Us, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley had something to do with Amy being pushed... Naughty Dog Official StatementTo be fair though, it doesn't look good. When you push out the Creative Director of a much loved series while another game is still riding the waves of its success, the fans of the former are going to start asking questions and pointing fingers. I personally cannot see any other reason why Amy Hennig would be kicked from the team other than a clash of egos with someone who is currently the golden child at the company. But then, I'm not going to start accusing people of things until we actually have the proof. I just hope it comes out sooner or later, for the fans' sake as well as the games' What do you guys think?

I've never really been able to play any of Naughty Dog's games,as I don't have a PlayStation 3 console, but I agree it is all too weird. Hennig was employed at ND for years, so why push her out now? I'm very curious as to how this all shapes out, and how the Uncharted series will perform with its Creative Director? The statment which was released today makes it sound as though the heads of ND had something to do with it. Or was it just me? The whole Druckmann and Straley rumours aren't really a reliable source of news, as IGN "speculated" so it could be anything for all we know. Fingers crossed the truth comes out soon. It'd be interesting as to what really happened...

Naughty Dog tried to cover it up that she wasn't forced out but I highly doubt they're telling the truth. It really makes me wonder what really happened...
