To port is converting a game of other software to other platform for can run it natively. That means that it can run using minus requirements because it doesn't need to be emulated, as the original Tomb Raider for PC, its platform is MS-DOS, not Windows.
Why It's Necessary?
Tomb Raider 1 has a lot of problems for can be run on actual computers. We must use unstable programs as DOSBox or Glidos for can play it, and sometimes, these solutions do not work correctly or cannot be used for some fans with limited knowledge in computing. The one real solution is port the game, and if it's used the TR1 iOS Version we could enjoy with its stability, HD Textures and its multi-language option.
