Just seen the live stream of the new game and when Lara spoke it sounded exactly like Keeley, they even used her hurt sounds from GoL. Kinda odd to use 2 different voice actresses but I guess it does save time lol
Anyone else think she's returning?

Not that I'm disappointed, but I'm really surprised that she would come back to the role to only do such a small part of it! She's a bigger name in my eyes than camilla is so would think she'd turn it down...
That and it seems a bit odd having two different voices playing one character at the same time, unless the whole point is that Keeley is playing the older version of Lara?

They probably just decided to keep Keeley for that world of the series so to speak. I'm fine with her for the arcade games since they are meant to be cheesy anyway, but still odd to have 2 Lara's o.O

Yeah just seems a bit rushed or not thought through properly to have two Lara's in games that are out so close together... Also, I kinda feel sorry for Camilla, what could be worse than your predecessor coming back to the franchise and all your haters being reminded of why they hate you in the first place!

Tis most definitely an interesting development.. i too am very surprised that she's coming back, altho from a purely logical perspective it makes perfect sense she continues the voice for the series. However it will be VERY much in peoples minds to compare the two voices side by side..

While it will be odd having two different voices for Lara at the same time, I am very happy that Keeley is back. It does make sense, given she was the voice of Lara in Lara Croft and the Guardian of light. I don't think it's fair to compare the two voices. While I will always have a soft spot for the Keeley's Lara, I do love Camilla's Lara as well.

I simply find it odd that they would branch the series continuity like that. Its like... the main games now are part of a reboot, but the "Legend/Underworld" Continuity are continued via these spinoffs.
Its not a bad thing, infact, I hated new Lara to the point I wished they would abandon Tomb Raider 2013's sequel and bring back old lara, but I just find it odd they would have two timelines running side by side. Its sure to confuse new fans!
Its a shame this didn't happen to Resident Evil. Resident Evil 4 should have been the reboot, and the old games could have continued as spinoffs. What I wouldn't give to have Catherine Disher voice Jill again!

I think because it's a continuation of Guardian of Light, then yeah; it makes sense since Keeley voiced Lara on that. They're two separate games entirely and not of the same time spectrum. I'm glad to see her back ^_^

Yeah, it is a bit odd. Who knows? Maybe the timelines will crossover at some point. Perhaps the original Lara could return, too! But maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here.
Nice to have Keeley Hawes back, though. I really like what Camilla Luddington did as Lara, but I'll always have a soft spot for Keeley, as Legend was the game that got me into the Tomb Raider series.

Am I the only one here who doesn't think it's odd that there is a sequel to Guardian of Light and that Keeley returned to voice Lara?
I mean, the 'Lara Croft and ____" are becoming their own series now. I don't see why that's odd and since it involves the Lara Crystal created, even down to Keeley being their voice-actress, they're keeping that consistent. I don't see what's so strange about that. I don't see that there's two Laras or anything like that. It's a series that people can enjoy with friends that involves classic Lara that so many love and then there's the actual series of Tomb Raider games. This wouldn't be the first time this happened in games.

I liking the consistency of keeping Keeley voicing Lara for this series of games.. Since its a grown lara in the games needs a grown voice

I think the whole reason Osiris features Legend Lara and Keeley Hawes is based soley on the fact that there was a large pocket of the Tomb Raider fanbase who simply did not like the new Lara Croft at all. I am one of them. I am happy that this game brings back the GOOD lara.
