Woohoo! Well done everyone and thank you so much for taking the time to join up! We hope you enjoy it here as much as we enjoy your visits! As a thank you, we will be holding a forum exclusive competition soon... I just have to go a way and think of something to give away out of my TR stash! Check back here for updates! UPDATE!Apologies in advance for the delay in posting about the competition and an even bigger apology for the atrocious video... anyways, you have to watch it to get the info about the competition I'm running for the forum! What I did forget to mention in the video however, was when the competitions end... they both end at midnight (GMT) on 5th July. And I will be announcing the winner two weeks later (as I will be out of the country soon after) So good luck to those who enter and I look forward to seeing your entries (which you can post in this thread)! FINAL UPDATE!!! And the winner is...First off, I just want to say a massive thank you again to all of you who make this forum the special and thoroughly enjoyable place that it has become! If it weren't for us having such an amazing group of people here, I know I definitely would have given up on this place ages ago! And a massive thank you to everyone who entered, I know it's a tough ask getting you to big yourself up as to why you deserve to win something, but in my eyes you all deserve it for being so awesome! It has taken me a long time to decide on a winner... I should apologise for the delay on this announcement as I have been so busy recently, but I wanted to make sure that I read everyone's entry properly and had to mull over which one deserved to win. And it has been tough I can tell you! But enough of me gushing, I can tell you I have now decided that the winner of the Lara Croft artwork is... Vinegaress!Congratulations! Make sure to PM me with your address and I will get the artwork sent off to you as soon as possible! Thanks again to everyone who entered, you all deserve to win, and if I had enough copies to go round, I'd make sure you all got one!!!

Lovely to see your face again Laurie! *cough* Lara *cough*. Congratulations on reaching 100 forum members ^_^ So basically, what I could gather from the video is that, the competition is to say why we think we deserve the prize? If that's the case - I would love to win because it's a beautiful piece of artwork! I've forever had my eye on the statue and this is the next best thing! I would frame it and hang it in my bedroom above my gaming unit ^_^ As to whether I deserve to... I think that's up to you! I try and support the forums and come back every now and again to contribute and see how you all are. You are the only Tomb Raider forum I use now, so I suppose there's that! Good luck to everyone who enters! x

Congratulations on reaching 100 forum members, as well as over 3,000 likes on Facebook and over 330 followers on twitter. So….. Why should I win the prize? It’s the beautiful piece of artwork. It also happens to be a piece of art from Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, which was the first Tomb Raider game I ever played. It was Guardian of Light’s character model of Lara Croft that first introduced me to the Tomb Raider franchise. It was Keeley Hawes for whom I heard the first lines ever spoken by Lara Croft. It’s safe to say I have a soft spot for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. I have long had my eye on that Lara Croft statue, but I’ve never been able to afford it. The drawing would be the next best thing. I would have it framed and hang it in my gaming room, next to my Lego Super Star Destroyer! As to whether I deserve to win it….. I’ll leave that up to you. I do my best to stay active and support the forums. Survivor Reborn is the only Tomb Raider forum I use now, so I guess there’s that. Good luck to all those who enter!

Congratulations for the 100 forum-members! Very well deserved! "Why should I win the prize?" Good question. Unfortunately I neved had enough money to buy a statue, but I've seen a lot of image about the statue, and that paintig aswell, digitally. Two times I tried to make a render from that painting. Once in 2011: Click for the full viewAnd later, in 2013: Click for the full viewSo you can imagine how much I love that image about the statue, and it would be so nice to see it as a physical copy, framed on my wall. Good luck, everyone!!!

A really great congratulations to the forum and thank you Jay, Laurie and AJ for doing such a wonderful job managing it and having it be a place that's enjoyable and fun. Judging by the video, why should I win the prize? Honestly, I don't have one Lara Croft artwork from a famous artist to my name, as disappointing as it is. I never been able to afford Collector's Editions or statues or fancy artwork when they come out. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one either with my ongoing financial situations. For two reasons, Adam Hughes was one of my first inspirations as an artist and he helped me continue my love for art, and my growth in improvement. His representation of Lara is gorgeous, and most likely, my favorite artist in depicting Lara. Lara, however is a completely other issue. Lara Croft really, is my role model. Ever since I played the first game at six years old, I fell in love with Lara and her world. She showed strength, ingenuity, wittiness, inspiration, a learning attitude, as well as a determined one and that inspired me to come out of my box that we make in life. She taught me that if I can believe I can do something, I can most certainly do it. She also helped my love for learning to where it is today. If it wasn't for her, and Tomb Raider, I really think I wouldn't have such a passion for archeology, history or mythology. She taught me to pay attention and open my eyes to such a vast world around me. If I were to be chosen, however it may be, that would really be the most treasured thing I own and would make me more happy than you can imagine, I can assure you. Really, this forum deserves so much more and I only hope that I make good contributions to the posts and to the forum itself. Congratulations again, and onto the next hundred!

Yeah sorry, life has kinda got really busy recently, so I'm losing track of things! The competition has officially closed, I just need to get my head round all the entries and decide on the winners! Hoping I can take a breather at some point on Sunday and announce the winners then!

I don't mean to double-post or anything, but I wanted to say thank you again and I received the beautiful artwork. In case anyone is interested, I took pictures. I still need to get her framed as soon as I can find a frame with the right dimensions.
