It seems that they have announced a "gold edition" of Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris. The Gold Edition of the game comes with a 3-inch Lara figurine, an artbook filled with exclusive concept art, a folding map of the Overworld, and the Season Pass. Apparently, The Gold Edition will be made available at "Participating retailers" for PC, PlayStation 4 and possibly Xbox One. Let's just say I REALLY want to find out where I can get myself a copy of the "Gold edition". Specifically for PC, if possible.
I have looked on steam, but I can't seem to find any info regarding the Gold edition. Will the Gold edition become available for pre-order on steam later in the year? Will it be at gamestop? What about Amazon.com? Who are these "Participating retailers"? Will this even be available in North America, or is this another UK only exclusive?
Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.

EDIT: Also found the official press release from Square Enix. It seems it will be coming to North America, but the question still remains..... Who are the participating retailers, and how soon can I pre-order the Gold edition of the game?

So yeah. not a lot information at the moment. I will probably call my local GameStop on Monday and see when they get it in stock.
I find it confusing. They announce a special edition, but there seems to be no way to pre order it. I'm sure this will all make sense soon enough.

More Updates: So yeah, they decided to make the gold edition a la cart. That way, you can buy the season pass and the gold edition goodies from square enix, but pre order the game from amazon, steam, or GameStop to get their pre order bonuses. In any case, I got the game and the season pass AND the Gold Edition pre ordered. December 9th can't come soon enough!

Random question, but does anyone know if the artbook will ever be sold separately from the 'special' editions, and what-not? While I'm still debating whether to get this after the fiasco fans have been put through regarding RotTR, I would like to purchase the artbook (I still need to get the Tomb Raider '13 one).

I think you can but the art book for Tomb raider 2013 separately. The one for the definitive edition only came with the pre-order, but I'm sure you can find It separately on Amazon or eBay.
As for Temple of Orsis gold edition, I think it's possible to buy the gold edition goodies separately from the game. That way, if you wish to get the pre order goddies from Gamestop, Amazon, or steam, you can do that and still get the gold edition stuff.
Here is the Link. The gold edition physical goods costs around $20. The goodies are only available with the gold edition, so my advice would be to pre order them while you still can.

The art book with the CE really isn't worth it. I couldn't even use it for cosplay reference. However the main one is beautiful and worth the money (ask for xmas )
