That is absolutely gorgeous! I love it! Thank you, Laurie! Tis lovely Thank you, Jay! ---- Here are some of my recent coloring jobs I've done. I came down with mono about three weeks ago and therefore wasn't able to get any artwork done, but I'm better now and it's about time I shared some of my work! This is a comic book character from Top Cow Comics (the same publishers who published the Tomb Raider comics) and her name is Aphrodite IX. She's a green-haired, synthetic human, or a cyborg if you will, assassin who forgets everything she knows after she performs an assassination. She lives in a futuristic world, much different than our own. I only colored this image as my fiancee did the inks for the image. This one is from a french fan of Tomb Raider who's art I absolutely adore (I will be doing more collaborations with her in the near future). She had this line art just begging to be colored and she was thrilled with the coloring job I did on it. After all, TRII is the best game in the series. This is perhaps one of my most favorite line arts that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The inks were done by my fiancee as well. The art piece depicts the new relationship of Wonder Woman and Superman in the reboot of the DC Comics.

Here are my three newest pieces. This is my favorite piece I've done yet. It was so much work I recently colored this lineart done by a french fan on deviantART. My fiance again did the inking for the image and I believe it turned out wonderfully. Everything in this is digitally painted, colors and background. Please make sure to actually click this image as so you can really see the details much better. This one was done by a fan of Tomb Raider on deviantART who's work inspires me a lot and it was his birthday four days ago, so I colored one of his sketches and he was extremely happy with the outcome. And this one is by far, my most difficult and piece I am most proud of that I've ever done. I worked so hard on painting and it everything I did in my pieces you saw previously, I had to use the skills learned from those, on this one and some skills and techniques I had never used before as well.

This is my newest coloration job, inked by fiancee and pencil by artist, Admira Wijaya. I had so much fun painting the clouds and the lighting and Wonder Woman was so enjoyable to bring to life!

Well, I finally finished the piece and you guys get to see it before my dA watcher/friends do! I listened to Secunda from the Skyrim soundtrack so much while painting this. I think it fits. What do you all think? This was digitally painted and colored by me and the elf was drawn by fellow artist and friend, Blaine on dA.

Aww thank you dear, ever so much! <3 --- I seriously just finished this one last night. The inking of Lara was done by an artist named, Staz Johnson on deviantART and I did the digital painting and coloring. So I imagined that Lara was balancing herself on a rock with alligators nearby in India (yes, I know they're not really in India, but it works for the image). I figured it'd be fun to paint an upclose and personal waterfall and work on painting the effect of a morning sun rising on Lara, the water and the plants/rocks that are peaking out of the waterfall. I really enjoying painting all the foliage and Lara was an absolute joy to color and bring to life. I was originally going to have an alligator head in the corner of the picture, opening it's jaws out to Lara, but no matter how many times I tried it, it just didn't look right, so you'll have to imagine the gators are closer to you than to Lara in this image, lol.

Phew! Finally got to this one on my list. This is the character, Madame Mirage from the comic, Madame Mirage. Here's a little introduction to her story, if you're interested: Madame Mirage – you'll never forget her… if you can make her acquaintance and live to tell the tale. The story of murder, intrigue and revenge with superpowers, the world of Madame Mirage takes place in a world where superheroes were man made creations through the advances in technology or bio-engineering to turn people into metahumans and metahumans into gods. But when there are heroes, there must be villains. As people took advantage of the mega-tech for personal gain, the technology was banned, the superheroes became outlawed and the real outlaws went underground. The pencils are by Andie Tong, and the inks are done by my fiancee, Adam M., while I did all the coloring and painting.

Wow I've never heard of Madam Mirage before! I may have to look into her! Thanks for introducing me to her...I may have found a new cosplay haha! She's really an awesome character and has a great comic. Definitely keeps you guessing, that's for sure. But then again, Paul Dini is an incredible writer too and Rocafort's art is so inspiring. You should definitely go read the comic and you would be one of the few to cosplay her. I know Meagan Marie did but she's not very well known to many audiences. Another amazing piece of art! Keep them coming, I'm loving all of these! <3 Aww, thank you so much Laurie! <3
----- I have so much artwork to show because it's been awhile since I've updated, so I'm sorry for all the work! ^^; My color on Cammy White from Street Fighter. This idea was originally from an artist I found on deviantART awhile ago who just disappeared. He had start a project of working on ladies from the DC comics divided into three parts and only finished one. So I am going back and finishing the other ones in my style with my drawing versions of his initial sketch and will be having it inked and colored. This one was drawn to represent the new Wonder Woman from the rebooted DC comics against her classic representation. I've been missing doing some Tomb Raider artwork of my own, so I decided to finish a sketch I did awhile ago and finally got around to finishing it and then, coloring it. I pictured Lara getting up early on the Endurance and making her way to the deck to see where they are at out at sea; I wanted to make Lara seem relaxed and at ease This was extremely challenging to paint due to all the details and 'extraness' I had to add to the image. If you're not familiar with these character, this is Wonder Woman fighting one of her arch-nemesis, Cheetah, a person, in fact a friend of Wonder Woman's, who was cursed and now is a Cheetah with powers and a deep residing resent to Diana (WW). When they fight, there is massive destruction as they are both extremely strong, so I had to paint a background that would be fitting to the fight. The pencils were done by Ian Medina, inked by Adam M. and painted by me. This one is penciled and inked by Marcus To, a brillant artist who's work I will be coloring more from later and painted by me. This is Supergirl and Krypto (the super powered puppy) from the Super family of DC.

Honestly, I am so embarrassed that I haven't updated my artwork thread in forever! I just don't have the time anymore, sadly. Perhaps I should keep the artwork that I show in here to just Tomb Raider artwork and if anyone else wants to see more, they can just click the front post link for more. But never-the-less. I've been working on a piece lately from a very, very old piece I did ages ago to see how much I have improved in totality with my artwork. Here is just a small preview of what it looks like so far. Hope you all like it so far.

I took the time to draw this yesterday and slapped on some colors for possibilities of what I am considering. It took about a little over an hour, I'd say. I attempted to do something different and try cell shading. I'm usually more of a traditionalist and shade classically, even when it comes to digital art. But with the setting and idea, I felt that heavy blacks and cell shading could possibly work very well with the picture.

I think your newest is my favourite so far D: Aww, thank you dear! Are you meaning the TRII one or the RoTR one? ----- So I finished a tribute painting I did for a gaming art website and we were celebrating the Playstation era and considering how much Tomb Raider cahnged Sony's platform forever, I'd figure I'd volunteer to do a Tomb Raider piece in honor of it. So here is the finished piece and I also have three YT videos that I edited and sped up while I did livestreams of my painting.
