Now that we have seen the latest trailer and it seems Lara is dealing with the aftermath of Yamatai, do you guys think she'll be a lone wolf again? It seems in the trailer she is suffering from some PTSD..and vartious friends I had who suffered from this liked to keep to themselves or push others away completely. We all know the secondary characters from the reboot were pretty forgettable..so this would be a perfect chance for Lara to just put her middle finger up and forget about all them xD

Mmm, I hope that she returns to her solitary self. I did like Zip and Alistair in Legend, especially Alistair - I thought he was hilarious. HOWEVER, as much as I would love her to be all by her lonesome I cannot help but think that the little clip we see where she headshots a man with the bow is, perhaps, signs of another faction that she will be up against. If this is the case (and of course this is conjecture)then perhaps Lara will have her own team of annoying SAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMM like people which will lead to more MP......grrrrr

I think there will be other people but, I doubt Lara would really want to get friends involved again after she lost so many people that she cared about the first time round. She'd want to keep them safe. The focus looks like it will be on Lara being a lone wolf, with interaction from third parties now and then.

I'm also hoping that we've seen the last of all the human enemies. Even though I loved the combat system in the last game, there was just too much fighting for TR. Tomb Raider is about the feeling of isolation and raiding tombs on your own, not hanging out with a group of friends and shooting a whole island's worth of bad guys!

I think that in itself will be scary because it could actually happen while out exploring, and how many people do we hear about that have been mauled or killed by a bear? Somewhere cold where the visibility is low, and then out of the gloom stands a tall, fearsome figure! That would give me the creeps! I think there will always be human enemies, but hopefully not as many as last time!

I think with the events of TR 2013, coupled with the fact she seems to be suffering with some form of PTSD, that Lara will become a lone wolf again. Probably to ensure that no more of her friends from the endurance crew die. She might encounter other people and enemies along the way, but I do not expect the endurance crew to return ever again.

I highly doubt Lara's going to have her friends along with her in the next game considering her experiences of losing so many she cared about. I prefer Lara be alone in the adventure as she should be in any Tomb Raider game.
As well, I don't think she's actually suffering from PSTD as we're led to believe. It seems she's more agitated and wants to be out and about while siting with the therapist in the trailer. She might be, to a certain extent but I think what's bugging her the most is that now that she has had her fair share taste of danger, she wants to be back in it. Exploring, adventuring, discovering, climbing, jumping, attacking, and yes, even killing. It was always inside of her but it changed her and opened up a part of herself she didn't know she had. Lara may be upset about what happened, what she saw, the loss of friends, but there's something burning inside of her way more than all of those things combined and that's being a tomb raider.

I agree so much with you. I think the trailer is clever as on one hand it seems to lead us to believe that Lara is seeing a therapist because she is traumatised, but there is another way of looking at it, in the sense that everything the therapist is saying, especially towards the end of the trailer, is a bit tongue in cheek. I hope there is a balance of Lara being a lone wolf, and Lara interacting - maybe not necessarily with team mates, but being aloof and sarcastic to enemies and that sort of thing.

LET'S GO RAIDING!" Pew pew pew No thanks.... I do hope she become a lone wolf again, I love that side to her. With a little sprinkle of aloofness and sarcasm (a la AoD) and I'll be very happy! To be honest I would like her to be wary of people, which makes her go off on her own into the wilderness.

I think there is a high chance that she would be wary of people, and I really hope they steer in that direction. After everything she's experienced so far in the reboot, she's very emotionally damaged. She'll be wary to get too close to people unless they end up dying as a consequence, she'll be wary of people in general after having being betrayed by Whitman and dealing with the mercs out to kill her. She'll also be wary of her own mind - after seeing what happened to Sam in Yamatai and having to deal with the knowledge that everything she previously knew was wrong, she'll be doubting herself and renewing and discovering who she truly is.
