I don't know about you, but while I think Rise of the Tomb Raider does look beautiful and fairly interesting, I feel like it's being held back. Maybe because it's being developed on an inferior system than the current models versus the Playstation 4 and some PCs' capabilities. Maybe it's the exclusive deal. Or maybe, it's because all the fans got smacked in the face after years worth of support.
Let's be honest. If Crystal really thinks the game is going to sell so well on the system that no one is buying, that has bought the least amount of systems by a whopping 22.3 million PS4s in April '15. Dear god, I wonder on earth what is is now. Versus the units totaled released from Microsoft, combined of XB1 and X360s together at only 8.7 million. And out of that 8.7 million "units", you have to wonder how many of those are ones included that are shipped, not even bought yet.
This game is going to tank, financially. It has to, because math just isn't on it's side. That said, do you think that even if SE and CD pulled their head out out of their butts and said, "Hey, we'll give it to all console owners day 1" that you would buy it? I don't think I would. I really don't. Tomb Raider feels... I don't know, so... dead to me. I was so hyped for the game and the way the series was going but after being punched in the face hit by a truck and tossed down a cliff (no Lara, I'm not talking about how CD continues to abuse you), it just doesn't feel the same. I don't know if I'll ever buy another CD made game ever again. Not because "I'm letting TR's deal blur all their games", but because I don't feel like supporting a company that starts panting like a dog at the first sign of some serious dough. Ironically, theAngryJoeShow (he's not even a YouTuber I watch) I saw his video just a couple days ago way back when CD was trying to make the game completely exclusive to the Microhoes (C'mon, we all know they were going to make it an exclusive originally), and his response reflected perfectly how I felt and still feel.

How do you guys feel? I feel really sad about it. "You can always play the old games". Obviously, yes I can, but let's be honest, it's not the same. Do I love the old games? Yes. Can I replay them? Yes. But I want to explore with Lara on her new adventures with a gaming generation that has reached such incredible heights. Why should I be punished for wanting that?
