If a new Tomb Raider film comes out, I'll be there. It can't possibly be worse or as off the rails as the Resident Evil films.

I just marathon-ed them all in lieu of doing any actual real work and I actually enjoyed them this time around. Although all the way through I kept thinking - why didn't they just use the game's plots cause this is predictable as hell. Angelina really brought classic Lara to life for me even if the scripts were pretty ghastly so it'll be strange seeing a new live-action film Lara but if it's written well and acted well then I'm all for it. |

If it's based upon the new Tomb Raider reboot exactly, I'll have no problem with it being made into a film. Now, who becomes the leading actress is another story entirely.

I'd rather them not further tarnish the series' name with a potentially bad film, but if they end up actually making a new movie, I would definitely watch it. I'd just not be too enthused that it could be good in general, nor for the image of TR.

Do we know who is directing the movie? Who the director is, is vital to the film.

No announcement yet on director yet, but am sure as soon as one is found it will be public info pretty rapid

There was an announcement that Emmy Rossum is going to be playing as Lara Croft from GK. I hope this is a April Fool's joke. I really do like Emmy's acting and her, but she really does not fit the part for Lara at all.

I'm all for a new TR film if it's handled properly. The other TR films, while far from perfect, were very enjoyable and miles better than most other video game adaptations (e.g. Super Mario Bros, which was perhaps one of the worst films ever made). What I'm really curious about is the plot. Are they planning to make a live action version of TR 2013 or will they come up with something completely new,maybe something set after the events of TR 2013? I've already played the game so I don't really want to pay to see the same story again..  |

If there is to be a new film based on the reboot the only person i can think of to play lara is Louise Bourgoin i loved her in the extraordinary adventures of madame blanc sec and i think she would be a brilliant lara croft

A British actress is a must, I cringed a lot with Angelina's performance xD I never really had any problems with Angelina's accent or performance. Just thought the characterization was a bit odd...as well as the fact there was no Winston and they changed her entire family background. A lot of people seem to want Camilla Luddington to play Lara in the film but, personally, I didn't like her performance as the voice actress in TR 2013. People moan about Angelina's accent but I thought Camilla's was even shakier (no doubt a result of living in the US for a long time). |

I really enjoyed the classic TR movies, even if they did have cheesy special effects and bad scripting, but they captured Lara and the Tomb Raider series incredibly well, so I'm all up for it! So long as it's acted well and has a decent script I'm on board! Fingers crossed there will be more announcements soon. The announcements I've heard so far seem promising.

I have a little bit of a love hate relationship with the movies. I don't have a huge problem with them-- Like it was amusing watching them in later years and realizing Daniel Craig was in them. The movies aren't horrible by any means. It would be interesting, anyway, I think.

We do need a British actress and I hope it isn't Camilla. |
