Medipacks. Sure, there's something a little unrealistic about nursing yourself back to half/full health with a medipack that's sp conveniently placed in an ancient tomb. But, then again, so is the regenerating health feature.

I would pick medipacks. It add a bit more tension the combat than regenerating health.
Sure, it's not realistic to patch yourself up with a medipack while being attacked by a bear or a bunch of human enemies and having your health be instantly restored, but then again, neither is hiding behind a rock while waiting for the strawberry jam to be wiped off your face.
When I say "strawberry jam", I am referring to the blood effect from call of duty modern warfare 2.

I'd say what I thought the health system would be in this TR, as in one similar to MGS:SE. You have to patch up specific injuries therefore you may find things, but if you don't have the right kind of kit then you are going to have to cope, modify or die. Maybe in the new one, Lara will have her psychological health that needs to keep an eye on, so it makes you actively avoid confrontation (or maybe that would get in the way of actual tomb raiding and stuff like this is better left to the comics, I'm not sure)

Medipacks, they have to bring them back! TLOU showed us that current games don't have to stick to the whole regenerating health crap, so I don't see why TR can't go back to it!

Sure, regenerating health is niffy but it's not Tomb Raider and keeping it that way (regenerating) is dumbing down the gameplay by a huge margin.
Keep it to medipacks and the Tomb Raider world will be a better place.

It all depends on the game play the regenerating health is the new in thing that most games have now. However medipacks are original and the original Lara Croft

I'd sure love to see the medipacks back, BUT we're probably gonna get the auto-healing thing again.  By the way, since the series has been rebooted, ROTTR will be TR2, rather than TR10. |
