Square Enix has trademarked an unannounced game titled Lara Croft: Reflections in both the United States and Europe. As discovered by JunkieMonkeys and verified by IGN, the classification qualifies Reflections as, "Computer game software; computer games, consisting of computer software; video game software; video games, consisting of computer software," and more. We know that Crystal Dynamics is working on the Tomb Raider Sequel on next-gen consoles -- perhaps titling the follow-up Lara Croft rather than Tomb Raider is another means of separating the rebooted universe from the original games. Additionally, Square Enix told IGN this week on the subject of a next-gen re-release of this year's Tomb Raider reboot, "It's so hard to keep a secret these days," and pointed to early December for potential news. VGX -- formerly the Video Game Awards ceremony -- takes place on December 7. Perhaps we'll see a double dose of Lara Croft in the coming weeks. Oh I remember this being found way back in March/April! Hope this isn't the name of the sequel, I'd miss the TR too much!

I have a feeling it's something like a spin off like GoL, which to be honest I don't mind, as it would be a nice filler to have between the last one and the next game (if it's even out before the next game!)

I must admit I did think about that, but wondered if that would make sense doing a GoL style game with 'old style' Lara and still continue with the core series. I won't complain haha!
Could it be a small episodic game that links the two new games together? Hmm...

If this really is a sequel, I do hope they will take their time with it. The last thing we need is another series of yearly installments. We wouldn't want the series to get stale again and require ANOTHER reboot, would we?

Sounds like something for Lara Croft: Reflections and a trailer for the sequel to the reboot.

I have little to no expectation of Reflections coming up, but I'm really really hoping that they'll have a trailer for the next TR at the show... maybe the second trailer is for the Reboot's Next Gen appearance or something?

I would quite like to see a new trailer! I'm very interested to see how TR evolves now (if it even continues the TR after the LC:R trademark has been confirmed).

Just seen your post about LC:R, I am quite relieved that isn't the name of the new game! It does look very GoL with the lovely artwork on the app store.
edit I will probably buy if it comes to android x)

I don't have an iPhone or an android, So I don't think I'll be able to buy LC:R. It's nice to see that they haven't completely forgotten about classic Lara. :3
