Due to the use of "Lara Croft..." as opposed to "Tomb Raider..." I would like to guess a sequel or similar game to Guardian of Light. That said, following TR's welcoming it could be plans for a sequel and just securing a provisional trademark name at this point.
Possibly it could be a mobile title for iOS/Android as SE seem to be doing a few of those lately.
I would hope more for a full game sequel, but only time will tell

Oh and TR6 was titled Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness so Guardian of Light was not the first title under that name.
I even felt after playing the recent release it should have been called Lara Croft: Tomb Raider or something.

I think I would have to agree with you there... rather than it being the full TR Experience, it just be a small appetiser until the next full installement comes out All very exciting though, can't wait to hear more!

Oh please don't release another Guardian of Light game, the series just got taken seriously again after more than a decade. :\
The last thing we need is for a new title to be pumped out every year.

I'm taking a stab at a mobile/tablet game as that seems to be the thing at the moment. Could possibly be a movie tie in with Square Enix registering the patent, though I think this is unlikely.
Another possibility could be a large DLC campaign similar to that of Dragon Age Origins when it released Awakening.
Whatever it is I'm quite intrigued and would love to know more when information starts to creep out (if the patent gets used).

Believe we'd already said no more GOL games Thanks Satan. It was fun and all, but it was on the same WTF'ery as Silent Hill: Book of Memories.

I'm so excited about this! Hope this game will be revealed at E3. Only few days left! I think it will a Guardian of Light styled game, or a game like Chronicles, where you can play Lara's previous adventures. Or a mobile game (I hope not!) or application...

Also hoping it gets released at E3, but for some reason I have this feeling its gonna be something lackluster like a comic series or something. lol

^Isn't it registered as video game software? Not that I know anything about trademarks so that could mean nothing for all I know.
The word Reflections suggests something retrospective. Of past games? I would've thought the reboot would've been a clean break from all ties to past games. If that's not the case then I'd be really glad but it does seem strange. I'm looking forward to finding out more about this.

I'm looking forward to finding out more about this. It was registered and filed under, "Computer game software; computer games; video game software" so I doubt a comic would be Reflections. However, there is supposed to be a comic for the new Tomb Raider that Dark Horse comics will be publishing (instead of it's predecessor, Top Cow). I really think it's a similiar game like GoL, even if it's denied by CD or SE. It may be an iPhone game, which I hope to God it's not. We've got enough crap on phones as it is.

I can't play GoL on my phone as hard as I try . I am super curious about this! This couldn't be a new game could it? Can they change the name once it is registered and this is just a working name?

Months later and we're still in the dark, I have a feeling if this is a game it'll end up being something like GoL to hold us over until the next REAL TR game.
