When it comes to bugs everyone is quick to talk about AOD but for some reason people seem to forget about this one. I'm gonna be blunt and say this is the buggiest game in the entire series..I can only speak for myself but I've found more game breaking glitches in this game versus AOD.
There's tons of times Lara will literally get stuck in the environment, her animations will become extremely glitchy, the ragdoll effects will go completely bonkers (which I'll admit is funny), the bugs in Mexico are incredibly game breaking like the ramps missing in action.
Some other weird glitches I had were Lara falling through the ground and her animations for guns not being correct. For example in the sea levels I decided to use the spear gun..Lara decided to use her extra hand like she had her pistols on her. XD
Pleaseeeee tell me I'm not the only one that thinks this game is buggier than AOD lol

There are a lot of bugs in Underworld but none of them are game breaking, only nuisances. However, in Angel of Darkness, I found there to be a lot more bugs, game breaking ones too than Underworld.
But that's not what you really wanted to hear lol.
What bugs me (forgive the pun) is that there were so many bugs in Underworld when there didn't need to be considering how short of a game it was, and most of the moves were the same (carried over from TRA, and TRL). That's the biggest thing that confuses me.

I think it was the motion capturing they did that really allowed the bugs to crawl their way through. You can see just by controlling Lara about 70% of her animations are bugged to hell. It seems they did the motion capturing and then sped it up..which in turn made the capturing look like a joke and waste of time.

Yeah the mocap was really bad in my opinion. The camera was so fast, I got sick so many times.

I always thought I had a dodgy disc, as the game often completely froze up my ps3 -- I had a particular problem towards the end of the game that drove me crazy! The game locked up and I had to reset the playstation; I actually wasn't able to complete the game It could have been that the disc maybe did have something wrong with it -- last year I bought the TR trilogy of Anniversary, Legend and Underworld, and finally completed Underworld without it crashing near the end. Although, Lara was still glitchy to control. I still love Underworld, in spite of the bugs. I was really into the Norse mythology.

I haven't really experienced any game breaking bugs with either the Steam or Xbox 360 versions of the game. Most of the bugs I experienced were graphics related, as my old ati hd 4600 card couldn't handle the game at anything more than minimum system requirements. I have since replaced it with a Radeon hd 7870, and it works MUCH better now.
The only thing they could have done a little bit better was making the motion capture more connected and polished. with a bit more work, it could have looked MUCH better.
Even with these minor issues, I still had incredible fun swan diving in Coastal Thailand. :3
