Here, you will find my most recent work; Works in progress, colorations, some finished work. I might even do some tutorials of my traditional work. I'll do my best to post artwork when I can and show you what I've been working on. In the mean time, it's just my random, creative, project-y junk.

Thank you both very much! My Sheriff of Lynchwood drawing finally got colored and it happened to be from an artist that used to work with 2K Games (the publisher/developers of Borderlands)! I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Well I am so excited about this one! I did the line art and the coloring on this using Gimp and my laptop built-in mouse pad. I think I've improved.

That is beautiful! Thank you very much, Laurie! ---------- Well, my friend Eric, drew my original character, Wendy Wonkers and I loved it so much, I decided to color it. I am very very pleased with the outcome of both the line art and the colors. I believe it's my best coloring job yet.

It took forever, but I think I've improved vastly. This is Killer Frost (DC comics villain) as portrayed in the video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Wow that is absolutely stunning! Need to put a cushion on my desk as jaw keeps hitting it Aww, you guys are just too nice! Thank you so much! --- I'm so sorry I haven't been able to keep up with posting my art on here. Lately, I've been super busy and just haven't gotten around to posting anything. I've done several picture since then, so I'll show them all to you! This was digitally colored and traditionally drawn by me. This is my original character, Jade Li. Part of the Green Lantern Corps, Jade has is both the granddaughter of Fear Corps. leader, Sinestro and protege of Kyle Rayner. I haven't wrote a lot about her, but I really want to get her name out there and some art done of her. Now for the strictly traditional artwork! Many a day, I do realistic comic character pieces in a pin up form and I decided a little while ago to draw Ms. Diana Prince (Wonder Woman). Ironically enough, this piece (line art wise) is going to be part of my Tomb Raider calendar project, but my friend Jen really wanted to color (she does traditional work herself as well) one of my Tomb Raider line arts and she asked for a Egypt one specifically, so I obliged and let her color this. Stunning colors, right? So line art is by me, colors are by her. So I saw this line art a long time ago (I really wish I could remember the artist' name) and I adored it to death, so I redrew it for myself, inked it, colored it and highlighted it and I think it turned out nicely. Everyone loves Harley, right?

A bunch of artwork that's somewhat new and very new, lol, as in yesterday new. The following were drawn by me and colored my friend, Jen. (Excluding the last one, as I drew just Lara and she did the background and colors). This one was drawn and colored by me.

Love it.. the superman especially Thanks, Jay. Beautiful as always , you mentioned a calendar, how can I buy one? Aww thank you. Haha, I never really thought of making into a full blown calendar for people to buy. It was originally just a project I was working on. A Tomb Raider piece for each month corresponding to the month's season and Lara's outfit and location. I didn't think I could sell work that features characters I don't own without some sort of copyright infringement. Does Etsy allow that sort of thing? ---- Here's my newest pieces. The Wonder Woman chibi was drawn and colored by me and inked my fiancee, who has just taken up inking; How exciting! This one was drawn by my friend, John and colored by me. (It's Red Sonja for those not familiar with her.) This one was drawn by my friend, John as well and was colored by me. This one was drawn by another artist, inked by fiancee again and colored by me. Lastly and certainly not least, this one was another collaboration done between my best friend, Jen and myself.

Stop being so good lol! These pictures are again absolutely stunning! You're too nice, Laurie! Thank you so much. ---- Here's my newest piece and I'm quite proud of it. I'll put the same on here what I wrote about it on my dA so it helps to give a little background on the process and planning. Lara waking up on the Endurance just a couple hours ago after telling Conrad Roth, the ship's captain her suggestion to sail into the Dragon's Triangle to find the lost ancient civilization of Yamatai. I imagined this moment would happen right before she got dressed and listened to her music to calm her nerves about her guesstimate of the lost city's location. The surreal of it all, just looking out the window and seeing the storm right there, just a couple miles away, pushing away everything that Lara had seen for months probably. At the same time, I wanted to convey the softness of Lara's demeanor, character and personality before the harshness breaks her. You don't ever really see artwork of the full picture of what she was before and what she turned to completely into afterwards. Everything in this image is painting except for my original sketch lines. As you'll notice, I didn't make just simple line art; I believed the sketchiness of the image would portray the softness, confusion and tenderness of Lara and her journey ahead of her.

Aw god, I love that picture! It fits in so well with a one shot I wrote about the hours before the Endurance crashed. You were right about the sketchiness, it does portray an uncertainty and an innocence I suppose of Lara.

Thank you so much, Laurie. Aw god, I love that picture! It fits in so well with a one shot I wrote about the hours before the Endurance crashed. You were right about the sketchiness, it does portray an uncertainty and an innocence I suppose of Lara. Thank you, I was hoping that would come across with the sketchiness of the image. And of course, I'm very happy you like the piece. Argh Sarah, I'm so unbelievably jealous of your work ;__; Well done! But you're so talented already, Hayley! No need to be jealous, you have so much skill in your writing and your art. You guys are all so ice and supportive of my art. ---------Here's my most recent picture and I am very proud of it. Please click on it for a way bigger resolution. I'll paste what I wrote about it from my deviantART here as well. I worked most of the night on it and really divulged into tutorials on digital painting and how to create other-wordly (like fog and mist) like environments digitally while keeping the tone of the image the same as the focal point, which would be Lara. All the layer of the plants, swampy water, waterfall and water splashes was the most time consuming. Probably one of the most fun details to add into the image was the water dripping from around Lara's right arm down into the water and splashing into the swamp below her. I also wanted to make it a little humorous with the original pencils because I thought, 'If Indy can go for an artifact, why can't Lara go for the same?'. Originally I was going to paint a background where Indy was defeated but I'm more satisfied with this idea; It kept the humor and the realism at the same time. Hardest part to paint and color was the probably the waterfall and all that water and keeping it mucky and muddy. This is the most hand digital painting I've done yet.
