This is one of the next-gen games that has impressed me the most. A lot of the others I've seen don't seem all that different to those of the current generation to me, gameplay-wise and visually. This one looks really immersive. Agreed, this and Murdered Soul Suspects were the only 2 games that really grabbed my attention from E3 this year.

It's the events of Yamatai coming back to her after all these years xD, so weird how it has just kicked in though. Does that happen often, supposedly deleted animations suddenly reappearing? To be honest, just proves that AoD is a rough little diamond if stuff like this appears a decade later. Just why they wanted a 12 instead of a 15 still confuses me, I think AoD needed that higher rating to fit in with the story and general mood of the game. Plus the older TR's were 15! Crazy It may have had something to do with me screwing around with the debug cheats and other options XD Some people I have talked to said she can do this on the ps2 version but I don't remember her ever doing it in either version. Almost had a heart attack when she snapped his neck lmao XD

So after owning the game for 10 years Lara decided to randomly start breaking people's necks lol. It was confirmed by 3 core members that this animation was removed mainly because of the ESRB rating or something along those lines..so I'm not sure why it oddly kicked in only now.

For those of you who play the reboot via steam, if you have had issues with the Achievements unlocking follow these steps. I tried em out myself and they work.
- Browse to your Steam 'userdata' folder - Go into the '960533' folder - Go into the '203160' folder(This is the Tomb Raider save data folder) - Go into the 'remote' folder(This is the Profile and Save games folder for TR) - Backup and delete everything in this folder to reset your profile and save games - Go to your Tomb Raider game in your Steam Library - Right click and select 'Properties' - Click on the 'updates' tab - Make sure that the 'Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Tomb Raider' box is NOT checked
Start the game and start a new game. Once you fulfill the missing achievement(s) they will be unlocked.
The main issue that causes the achievements to glitch is the Steam Cloud Saving, it has nothing to do with the game itself or anythin CD did. You'll know if you did everything correctly if while your playing you start unlocking concept art etc.

These are some known issues I have come to spot after playing TR3 on Windows 7 through Steam. If you are having a different error please post it in here for the attention of Square Enix. - When clicking on the passport from Lara's Home to start a new game the game will freeze and crash. - When clicking on the sound icon the game will freeze, whether you're playing in Lara's Home or the main game. - Resolutions must be set each time you start the game up. Setup, how to make sure it runs correctly.- On setup you must use Hardware Mode or the game won't even load up. - For sound be sure to select whatever random numbers pop up, using the primary sound driver option will give you no sound.

Very true points, ya think by now we would have some kinda program that could pin point more of the hidden points, or loading points to unlock more of the levels XD

That's the one thing I don't get though..I know the controls were god awful on the PS2 version. But playing on PC Lara responds a lot better almost exactly like the classics. I think the problem with the console version is that the game just wasn't meant to be analogue at that point in time. But I could be wrong..

^ AJ.R Do you know if you can get the reboot comic in print in the uk I could be wrong but I think the physical version was only released in the USA. Amazon has it really cheap if you wanna pick one up though instead of ordering the collector's edition from the USA. Tomb Raider The Beginning

In addition to the just announced Assassin's Creed graphic novel, a brand new comic based upon "Tomb Raider" was also unveiled at San Diego Comic Con by publisher Dark Horse Comics. Due in early 2014, it's being brought to you in part by Gail Simone, one of the biggest comic scribes in the business today. Kotaku recently spoke with her about her upcoming book and much is revealed. Including how she's a fairly hardcore gamer; her collection includes a mint condition Vectrex. Though she also reveals that the comic will act a bridge between the just released game, and the one that's coming up next: "We start just a few weeks after the end of the game, and this is all in continuity, it will be Tomb Raider canon, and lead DIRECTLY into the sequel. This is what got me excited; we get to be part of Lara Croft history." Furthermore, it's somewhat implied that the book will contain a few elements from the original series of games that were done away with when the franchise was rebooted. While Lara Croft won't be canvasing the world for treasure like before, she'll still be traveling the word, this time in search for answers.

As much as I love the new Lara and she really is a step up from Legend Lara personality wise..she still isn't as bad ass as Core's Lara. Though there were tons of moments which reminded me of classic Lara so they're on the right track.

This is actually the only TR game I haven't played. I remember seeing it in stores a long time ago but never picked it up because of it being for the handhelds. May try it out one of these days though..

Tom Clancy's The Division is an upcoming multiplayer online third-person tactical shooter action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Massive under the Tom Clancy brand for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. PLOT
The Division is inspired by Operation Dark Winter and Directive 51, real-world events which "revealed how vulnerable we've become"; society has become "fragile" and "complex". In the game, a disease that spreads on Black Friday causes the United States to collapse in 5 days. The player is part of a group called "Strategic Homeland Division (SHD)", called "Division" for short. This group was established to combat the threat and do whatever it takes to "save what remains" in a massive multiplayer online situation, putting them against friends, AI and other players. GAMEPLAY

Months later and we're still in the dark, I have a feeling if this is a game it'll end up being something like GoL to hold us over until the next REAL TR game.

Tomb Raider: The Prophecy is an action-adventure video game released in November 2002 for the Game Boy Advance, part of the Tomb Raider franchise. It was developed by Core Design and published jointly by Eidos Interactive, Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft.
SUMMARY The game is based around an ancient prophecy written in the Tome of Ezekiel, which tells of three magical stones, used by various powerful rulers around the world. Lara must find these stones before a cult known as the Teg-du-Bhorez can collect them all and use them to revive a mystical being known as the Great Grey One, thus bringing about the end of the world. Throughout the game Lara searches for the stones and thinks that she has found them. However, she realises that she was mistaken and has to come back to defeat the game's villain.
